How to Find All Photos of a Person on Your iPhone
Whether you are gathering photos of someone or clearing out an ex's, the Photos app can round up most pictures of a specific person automatically. Here is how, and its limits.
Use the People album
- Open Photos → Albums → People & Pets (older iOS calls it "People").
- Tap the person's face. If they are not named, tap Add Name so you can search them later.
- You will see photos Apple has recognized as that person. You can also just search their name in the Photos search bar.
The limits
Face recognition is on-device and handy, but it is not complete: it misses photos where the face is unclear, turned away, or was never grouped. So "all photos of a person" is really "most" — worth a manual pass if it matters.
